Calling All Bloggers and Website Managers! Want Free Advertising?

Inspired by Kurt Willems over at Pangea Blog, we at THEOLOGY21 decided that it was finally time that we set up a Blogroll. We have avoided one like the plague because we are trying to blend media’s and have no desire to be a full fledged “blog”—but a chimera of a blog, magazine, and news paper bringing daily content that is challenging and insightful. But it is important that we develop friendships and include people in the process of what sites we are reading, whose blogs we find insightful, and what strikes our fancy. So with all that being said, we are creating section of our side front page dedicated to blogs and sites that we want people to check out.

We are obviously adding sites that we already read but would like to give any of you the opportunity to get onto the site. It is great exposure for both us and you. We just need a few things so we can include you!

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Add a link to “THEOLOGY21” to your blogroll.
  2. Leave us a comment with the following info: a) Name, b) link to your blog, c) a brief description of what you blog about, d) your social media links [twitter / Facebook] and e) confirmation that we are on your blogroll as well (5 brief things).
  3. Add us as a friend in various social media contexts if we aren’t yet connected in some way. Twitter, Facebook, email list.  On Twitter specifically, make sure you let me know that you followed me so we can follow you back.
But to sweeten the deal, we will select three people randomly to add an advertisement image and link to our top page for a month!
So leave us a comment and spread the word! The bigger the response, the better it will be for your site and ours!
Cheers!

I’d love to jump at this opportunity if it’s not too late.  I’m blogging and podcasting, and my personal site is http://stevebremner.com, a place where faith and technology collide.  And I think we could partner together some with the other site I created and edited (but doesn’t nearly have the traction Theology21 has) at http://fireonyourhead.org called Fire Press -it also is a co-op of authors, writing on a variety of Biblical themes, but with a flare for the call to lives of radicality and holiness and encouraging people to “keep their fire burning”.

I don’t know if you’ve ever taken a look or checked out the podcast, but  you’re already following me @FieryCanadian, and @FireOnYourHead.  Plus if you take a look, you’re already linked to on both sites ever since Shaun introduced me to this site.  I love it!Blessings

So I’d love to be on the roll, if you’ll have me.

I run a website on the intersection between the Christian faith and video games, it’s called http://www.followandengage.com, and our tagline is “Follow Christ. Engage Games and Culture.”

My project is to raise awareness of the ways Christians are beginning to interact with video game culture, both as creators and consumers. I regularly link to articles that other Christians have written on games as well as  interview Christian game developers and post my own thoughts.

I’m already following you on twitter both as @jordanekeroth:twitter , and @followandengage:twitter. Haven’t set up a blogroll yet, but let me know if you’re interested
